How To Update Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and Root LG G2:

  • Download and Copy Stock Firmware, Google Wallet Fix and SuperSU zip packages in your device.
  • Now boot your device in TWRP Recovery Mode.
  • In TWRP Recovery mode select Wipe>Advanced Wipe.
  • Also Wipe Dalvik cache, System, Data, and Cache.
  • Now go to the main menu of Recovery Mode and tap on Install button.
  • Select Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Stock Firmware package downloaded from above and Swipe the confirmation slider to install the ROM.
  • If you are AT&T LG G2 user: After installing ROM, tap Install button again and  select file and Swipe the confirmation slider to install the zip file.
  • Then go back and select file and install it too.
  • Now, reboot your phone using Reboot> System option in TWRP.

That’s it!!! Your LG G2 is successfully updated to Android 4.4.2. Kitkat without losing Root access.

      You can root your device with the method given above.
      After rooting you have to install Custom Recovery in your device to install Paranoid Custom ROM. to flash Custom Recovery and then follow the method of installation given by Paranoid ROM developer.
