Before You Begin:

How To Restore Stock Firmware In Motorola Moto X:

  • Please follow all the steps given in Before You Begin section for safe installation.
  • Download RSD Lite & Stock Firmware in your PC.
  • Extract Stock Firmware package in a empty folder of your PC and search for the file with XML extension.
  • Now open the XML file with Notepad, Wordpad and find the line:
    <step operation="getvar" var="max-download-size" />
  • Now select this line and delete it from the XML file and save the file.
  • Now connect your device to PC with USB cable.
  • Launch CMD  (Command Window) in your PC and type the following command and hit enter button

              adb reboot bootloader  (This will reboot your device in fastboot mode)

  • Now run the RSD Lite tool in your PC and select the three dot browse file button and select the XML file you saved earlier.



  • Now click on Start button in RSD Lite tool and it will begin the restoring process.
  • The whole process can take few minutes.
