How To Root the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU

Learn How To Root and Install TWRP Custom Recovery Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU with easy method and instructions. In this method, we’ll use Odin 3.09 flash tool and then we’ll flash TWRP Custom Recovery with help of Odin. After that we’ll root Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU with TWRP Recovery.

Before You Begin :

  • This method is only for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU (Don’t try in any other smartphone).
  • Make sure your device is at least 60% charged.
  • Create a backup of all your important data.
  • Download USB Drivers for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU from Here.
  • Enable USB Debugging in your device. Click Here if you don’t know how to enable it.

How To Flash TWRP And Root Your Device:

  • Follow all the instruction given above for safe rooting.
  • Download and extract the downloaded zip file in your PC.
  • Boot your device into Download Mode,  by pressing  and holding Power + Vol down+ Home and connect to computer with usb cable.
  • Now run Odin 3.09 (as administrator) and select AP and then select the openrecovery-twrp- file
  • Hit start in Odin and as soon as Odin is finished the device turns off for reboot DONT let android boot, quickly press Power + Volume Up + Home to boot into TWRP recovery.
  • Now press Reboot > System and then slide to install root.
  • When device has rebooted to android, open superuser installer app and follow instructions to update then install su binary updates then reboot.
  • Download and install Busybox from Google Play.

That’s it, your device is rooted now.
